Developing Florida's Marine Food Fish Industry

1st Florida Marine Aquaculture Industry Development (MAID) Workshop to be Held at Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institution

FT. PIERCE, FL - Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institution will host the first ever Florida Marine Aquaculture Industry (MAID) Workshop at its Education and Conference facility April 16 - 18, 1998. This workshop includes presentations by industry leaders and aquaculture experts describing the marine food fish industry, production systems, markets and regulations. Food fish production, marketing and regulatory panels will prioritize species for marine food fish aquaculture in Florida. Entrepreneurial and research opportunities will be identified. Registration includes a workshop proceedings.
