National Toxicology Program (NTP) public meeting on the report on carcinogens

Purpose:
The NTP is hosting a public meeting to continue the process of obtaining advice and comment from all interested persons about the review process and/or evaluation criteria used for listing substances, agents or exposure circumstances as "known" or "reasonably anticipated to be" human carcinogens in the DHHS RoC and to provide a forum for discussion of the views expressed.

Who:
A panel to include NTP staff, representatives of the NTP Board of Scientific Counselors and the NTP Executive Committee will receive comments and participate in the discussion. All interested parties are invited to participate; attendance and participation are limited only by the space available.

Public Comment:
Interested persons may provide oral comments to the panel. The time allotted will be dependent upon the number of individuals who register to speak (at least 10 minutes anticipated for each presenter). Written comments are welcome. All comments received by September 15 will be considered for their implictions with respect to the reviews of nominations for the 10th edition of the RoC which is in the erly stages of preparation.
