Nerac.com and Infinata partner to offer BioPharm Insight(TM) Resource

Tolland, CT -- September 26, 2003. Nerac, a leading information resource for researchers in science and technology, has recently inked a deal with Infinata, a top provider of online market research. Through Infinata's resource, BioPharm Insight, Nerac clients will be able to receive up-to-date information on the latest drug development activities from around the world.

The BioPharm Insight databank includes information from over 11,000 investigational drug programs, 15,000 launched products and 2,000 global biotechnology and pharmaceutical firms.

"Biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies make up more than 25% of our client base. The information that Infinata offers through BioPharm Insight will be indispensable for our clients in these areas and will provide data that both our Specialists and clients are unable to find through other resources," said Nerac's President Kevin Bouley.

With access to the BioPharm Insight resource, Nerac's Information Specialists will be able to search for drug development activities that include recently approved drugs, drugs with expired patents, prescription and wholesale data, investigational drug programs, clinical trial results, drug family information and thousands of drugs and compounds available for in-licensing through Drug MarketplaceTM. BioPharm Insight also gathers market research on biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies, including market share information and company financials (including sales reports and R&D budgets).

"As an information provider for scientists and engineers, Nerac is a perfect fit for the BioPharm Insight resource," said Sean Power, Executive Vice President of Infinata. "The information we gather provides critical intelligence for business development groups at biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies looking to keep a keen eye on competitors, new licensing opportunities and the projected fate of their own products."
