Enzyme Engineering XIX

The Enzyme Engineering Conferences started in 1971 and has become the leading international forum for new developments in enzyme technology and biocatalysis, including both fundamental and practical aspects of emerging technologies. The Enzyme Engineering Conference series has been instrumental in bringing together the leaders in applied chemistry, biology, and engineering throughout the world. Like the previous eighteen conferences spanning the last 38 years, this one will be a scientifically challenging and highly stimulating blend of academia and industry that should once again resonate strongly with those within the applied biotechnology fields.

Topics for the 2007 conference include:

  • protein design and computation

  • catalytic promiscuity

  • mutant library creation and analysis

  • fundamentals of directed evolution

  • new industrial applications of biocatalysis

  • metabolic pathway engineering
