Tyler Prize Lecture April 19 at USC

WHAT: The winner of the 2007 Tyler Prize for Environmental Achievement will deliver a public lecture.

Hosted by the University of Southern California, the Tyler Prize for Environmental Achievement is one of the premier awards for environmental science, energy and medicine. Previous recipients include Jane Goodall, Paul Ehrlich and Thomas Lovejoy. The award consists of a gold medal and a $200,000 cash prize.

WHO: Gatze Lettinga, a Dutch scientist known for his invention of anaerobic wastewater treatment and his determination to make it universally available by foregoing his own patent rights.

WHEN: Thursday, April 19 at 2 p.m.

WHERE: Davidson Conference Center, corner of Jefferson and Figueroa. Enter campus through Gate 4 on Jefferson Boulevard. Parking is free with valid press credential.
