Allentown chemist wins national award for plastic polymer inventions

Robeson received his undergraduate degree from Purdue University in 1964 and his Ph.D. from the University of Maryland in 1967. He is a member of the ACS divisions of polymers and polymeric materials science and engineering. Last year he was elected to the National Academy of Engineering.
