Bridge Medical CEO John Grotting to help launch new alliance to improve healthcare delivery

CEO John Grotting will be available to the media at 10 am in the Grand Ballroom.

Grotting will join experts from the FDA, the Department of Veterans Affairs, Premier, Novation and others, in a panel on "Standardizing Bar-Coding: Making it Happen" moderated by AHA Senior VP Rick Wade a senior at the American Hospital Association.

An IT firm in Solana Beach, Calif., that has pioneered the use of barcode technology in healthcare, Bridge has been honored for its patient safety solutions and educational initiatives. Prior to joining Bridge, Grotting was vice president for care delivery operations at the $2.6 billion, 1859-bed Allina Health System. (See www.bridgemedical.com/grotting.shtml)
