Corrected metabolism leads to health benefits and weight loss

A revolutionary weight loss program that balances metabolism and hormone levels has stabilized a variety of medical conditions such as diabetes, arthritis and high blood pressure, says a leading Canadian General Practitioner.

The Metabolism Correcting program begins when people who enroll are given a series of blood tests that measure 28 factors that relate to their metabolism.

They are then given individually-designed portion controlled eating plans based on an analysis of these tests and each person's medical history and food preferences.

Dr. Claude Morin, twice president of the General Practice division, British Columbia Medical Association, screens the initial blood tests.

The blood tests reveal many deficiencies or abnormalities such as elevated uric acid level, elevated cholesterol, iron deficiency, or abnormal liver or renal function.

Dr. Morin has worked in general practice for more than 30 years and is medical consultant to SureSlim Canada, which administers the Metabolism Correcting program.

When he began consulting for the company five years ago, SureSlim was known primarily as a weight loss clinic, where clients lose an average of 15 to 22 pounds per month.

But in recent years, Dr. Morin has observed people on the program experience dramatic health benefits as well.

"I have seen first-hand, numerous SureSlim clients going off medication for serious ailments including diabetes, high cholesterol, arthritis, high blood pressure and depression, just to name a few."

Each individually-designed eating plan is formulated to address each person's specific health issues. For example, if the uric acid level is high, the prescribed diet is directed toward low purine foods and reducing fats, particularly high-saturated fats from a non-vegetarian source.
