History In The Making: The Discovery And Clinical Trials Of Viagra

What

A news briefing will be held on the research and clinical trials that brought about the development of Viagra, the world's first oral therapy for male erectile dysfunction (MED). Over 30 million men suffer from MED in the U.S. alone. Perspectives on the history and future of Viagra research will be presented by a key member of the Pfizer Central Research team, at the national meeting of the American Chemical Society, the world's largest scientific society, in Boston, Mass., August 24-27. It is one of 6,700 papers to be presented during the four-day meeting.
