National Academies Advisory: Nov. 4-6 Frontiers of Science Meeting in Irvine, Calif.

The 16th annual Beckman Frontiers of Science symposium, sponsored by the National Academy of Sciences, brings together outstanding young scientists to engage in cross-disciplinary discussions. This year's symposium will feature presentations on topics such as aging; the role of ice sheets in determining sea levels; the origin of language; analysis of social networks; and quarks and the cosmos.
