Oct. 14 Web cast: Reporter's Workshop -- Covering Vaccines & Immunizations

The National Partnership for Immunization invites you to an important discussion about the complex world of vaccines, especially timely with last week's news of the influenza vaccine shortage. To provide you with insights about reporting on this and other immunization stories, a panel of experts will discuss:
  • What goes into vaccine research and what vaccines are currently under development
  • The dynamics and challenges of vaccine supply and demand
  • Current strategies for possible shortages in critical vaccines
  • Challenges of writing accurate stories against tight deadlines and limited space
  • New data on parents' attitudes and opinions about childhood immunization practices.
