First Anniversary Milestones and Future Plans WHAT: An update on the Product Quality Research Institutes (PQRI) key events and milestones in its first year and future plans. The Product Quality Research Institute (PQRI) is a collaborative effort by FDAs Center for Drug Evaluation and Research (CDER), industry and academia to examine and support drug regulatory issues. PQRIs research projects will generate scientific support to reduce regulatory testing and reporting requirements without compromising drug product quality. The institutes recommendations based on this research are expected to speed new drug approvals and reduce the industry's cost for pharmaceutical development.
