UIC offers new weight loss surgery for obese teens

"The advantages of using LAP-BAND are clear in adult patients and we believe the same will hold true for teens," said Dr. Santiago Horgan, director of minimally invasive surgery at the medical center, who has performed more than 650 LAP-BAND procedures.
