Clinical studies evaluate potential treatments for mouth ulcers

More careful study of anecdotal treatments is needed. "At the present time, however, the dermatologist is often faced with treating highly symptomatic patients in the best fashion possible to alleviate their discomfort; this is, after all, one of the primary roles of any caring physician," Drs. Bruce and Rogers conclude. "These studies in this issue of the Archives enhance our armamentarium."
