The programs will be presented on three stages in hall A2 of the Georgia World Congress Center, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Kids and teens can have their "passport" stamped after visiting each of the nine zones in the Youth World section of Neurology EXPO. The Reflex Zone will test your knee jerk. The Sensory Zone will offer a colorful brain puzzle to take apart and put back together. Kids can make "beady neurons" in the Craft Zone. The Brain Fitness Zone will demonstrate the importance of bike helmets and good brain foods. In the On-Stage Zone, Eric Chudler, PhD, will describe what the brain looks like and how it works during four sessions of "Journey Into the Brain." A prize drawing will be held at the end of each session. Other zones include the Memory Zone, Book Zone, Arcade Zone, and TV/DVD Zone.
A variety of healthcare providers will also exhibit their products and services. Patient advocacy groups will provide information about their programs and activities. Neurology EXPO will bring the greatest number of resources aimed at providing information to people with neurological diseases under one roof.
