The XXth Congress of the International Society on Thrombosis & Haemostasis

The XXth Congress of the International Society on Thrombosis and Haemostasis is to be held in Sydney, Australia from the 6 12 August 2005.

More than 4000 researchers from over 100 countries and across Australia will attend the Congress. It will be a showcase of how excellence in Australian and international medical research, can lead to a better quality of life for people.

The Congress will feature the latest on diagnosis, treatment (including stem cell and gene therapy) and management of Australians affected by:

    Bleeding disorders
    Clotting disorders
    Stroke
    Heart disease
    Cancer
    Obstetric disorders

The latest updates on PREGNANCY outcomes and for people taking preventive medication such as ASPIRIN, ANTI-COAGULANTS (such as warfarin) and ANTI-OXIDANTS, will be presented.
